There's something in a name

The life of baby Michael was so short here on earth. He started as just a seed in his mothers womb in November 2011. He and his mother had a very healthy pregnancy and growth and development. He was born in early labor and at his birth, it was revealed that his organs were too under developed for him to survive for very long. His life story to us will be remembered for what he will be called to do in heaven, and so we named him accordingly. His first name Michael has some relevant meaning to us- after the arch angel Michael in heaven. We learn through God's word that Michael is an angel with a sword of flames. His middle name, Clement, came from his fathers remembrance of a faithful servant in the new testament. As parents who have now experienced the loss of a child, the greatest comfort we have to share is the knowledge of eternal life. We have quoted a little bit from what we have learned from God's word and from others experiences. If we can share this with others who have lossed a loved one at all, we pray this will also give them peace and hope in Jesus Christ and the promise we have been given through believing he is the son of God and was sent for us. We found much comfort in an account of a young boys experience after death of his encounter in heaven that he now lives to tell of through a book called "Heaven is for real". While there are so many different things he shares he saw in heaven, one thing really sticks in our minds and rings true in our hearts from what we read in God's word. And that is to believe in him. He writes that "Jesus told me many things in heaven. He told me to be nice to others and to talk to God in prayer. He talked to me about the markers on his hands and His feet from when He died on the cross. He did that so we could go see Him and His Dad in heaven. The most important thing Jesus told me was how to get to heaven. He said to believe in Him and follow Him. That makes God very happy." John 6:39-40 New International Version (NIV) 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
